Life is enriched by stories. When stories intersect, life begins to take root. The story of Byzanti Horn intersects with the ancient history of Istanbul. Constantinople, Nova Roma and Der Saadet centuries ago, Istanbul's first name in the historical process is Byzantion.

The name Byzantium dates back to ancient Greek mythology. According to the legend, Zeus, the god of the gods, had a forbidden love affair with Io, a princess renowned for her beauty. Zeus' wife, the arch goddess Hera, was enraged when she learned of this love. However, Zeus turned Io into a horned cow to protect her from Hera's wrath. When Hera found out what Zeus had done, she infested Io, who had been turned into a cow, with a horsefly. As Io traveled long distances with the pain of the bites of the fly sent by Hera to punish her, she hit her head from left and right, separating the pieces of earth from each other and creating deep cracks.

The Golden Horn, known as the Golden Horn, was one of these crevices created by Io as she writhed in pain. Tired and writhing in pain after a long journey, Io finally made it to the shore and gave birth to Keroessa, the daughter of Zeus. After many years, Keroessa gave birth to the child of Poseidon, the god of the seas, Zeus' older brother, in the Golden Horn. This descendant of the gods, the source of the story of Byzanti Horn, was King Byzas, the founder of Byzantium, a dream for some and a hope for others.
